For IAU Travel Grants:
Everyone can apply as far as you provide a contribution (almost following IAU rules). If you apply this grant, please complete your registration and submission of the abstract of your presentation first, and then download the IAU Grant Application Form, fill it, and send its scan (pdf file) to astropol2020-query@ml.hiroshima-u.ac.jp by e-mail. The deadline of the application is at 23:59 on December 20 (UT). The result will be announced to each applicant around 2021 February 5th after the approval by IAU. The adopted persons will receive the grant in cash in Japanese Yen at the registration desk in the Symposium.
For grants provided by NAOJ and Hiroshima University:
We may consider additional financial support for the travel expenses for students and (young) astronomers who make an oral or a poster presentation. The sponsors are National Astronomical Observatory of Japan or Hiroshima University. With this gant, only the accommodation fees and the public transportation costs within Japan will be supported. If you apply this support, please complete your registration and submission of the abstract of your presentation first, and then download the IAU Grant Application Form, fill it, and send its scan (as an attached pdf file) and your itinerary (in the main text) to astropol2020-query@ml.hiroshima-u.ac.jp by e-mail. The deadline of the application is at 23:59 on December 20 (UT). The result will be announced to each applicant around 2021 February 5th (TBD). The adopted persons will receive the grant in cash in Japanese Yen at the registration desk in the Symposium (or by bank transfer only for applicants from Japan).
